Ventilation
Ventilation noise corresponds to a broad band noise, rather directive and medium-frequency, to which some emergent elements could add up such as “whining” or “whistling”. Its aggressive aspect is caused by an excessive level in high-frequency bands, caused by the speed rotation of the blower, or overall level. A good Ventilation contributes to cocoon effect, but an excessive level or aggressivity could ruin it and make the sound unpleasant. Ventilation noises are produced by the airflow going through the aeration system (blower, duct, vents …) and vary due to user setting (speed, orientation, temperature…)
